Gupta 27 , ambitious hero gets pressurised from family to look for a bride. Without much eagerness he register himself in to a
matrimonial site where he stumble upon Beauty with brain Shreya Malhotra. Soon
they start going out and find themselves comfortable in each other's company.
Things were
perfect ( imagine the violin play) until
Shreya goes for a vacation with her friends to Bangkok and meet the lover boy
,an extreme flirt Shivam Malhotra in the airport. With his cheesy lines he tries to flirt with
Shreya ,but it made her irritated. Shivam manages to woo Shreya's friend and start dating her. With few incident Shreya starts liking Shivam soon after . On the otherside Sid is all geared up for the marriage. Who will get the bride?
My view:
Though I
could guess the story ,but still it was somehow
unknown to me which made me hooked up till the end.
I like Sid's
character in this book. The way he
expressed his feeling was so honest and relatable, especially the time he went for the date with Shreya for the first time.
Didnt like Shivam though, but at times his way of respecting Shreya was very impressive.
All the characters
were well portrait and each played a good amount of space. An easy and fun read .
Author Himanshu Bhatia can give a tough competition to ChetanBhagat with his debut novel, a very very Bollywoody Just Married Missed, making box-office overflow.
